Adding to that feeling of safety and security, are the smooth surface of the completely sanded table (no ouchies from splinters!) and the comfort of rounded corners which prevents shin bruises on little ones who are not yet too stable on their feet. The possibilities are endless on decorating the children’s table. Paint a tic-tac-toe grid on the top and use wood “x’s” and “o’s” for the playing pieces. Or paint a mini race-track where many matchbox car races will be held. You can even create these items on placements and laminate them so you can change them out for each child.
